This is a option for 0.99 .
24-7bids wants to ensure that we offer buyers an array of safe, appropriate, and convenient payment choices. We strongly encourages sellers to offer payments through
PayPal.
PayPal is not only convenient to use, but it also offers buyers and sellers industry leading protection against fraud, chargebacks and theft of financial data. Merchants with their own merchant credit card processing account, and those who use a third-party credit card processor, may also offer their buyers the option of paying directly with a credit card online (including through third party checkout) or by phone.
Offline payment methods generally do not offer the same level of protection or convenience as online payments. Nonetheless, they may be appropriate for certain types of transactions and sellers may use listings to offer acceptance of most valid financial instruments including personal checks, cashier?€?s checks, money orders or COD.
Other online payment methods allowed on 24-7bids:
Payment methods not allowed on 24-7bids:
Sellers may not solicit buyers to mail cash. Sellers may not ask buyers to send cash through instant cash transfer services (non-bank, point-to-point cash transfers) such as Western Union or Moneygram. Sellers may not solicit payment through "topping off" of a seller's pre-paid credit or debit card. Finally, sellers may not request payment through any other online payment providers that was not listed above.
This policy is designed to promote safe online shopping, and to encourage online payment methods that are safe, easy to use, reliable, and offer high levels of protection for users. The policy also attempts to preserve some flexibility for users that still prefer offline payment methods. (24-7bids recommends using PayPal or Authorize.net to complete all transactions to better protect yourself.)
Violations of this policy may result in a range of actions, including:
-
Listing cancellation
-
Limits on account privilege
-
Account suspension or cancellation
-
Forfeit of fees on cancelled listings

To sell on 24-7bids you need to first
register
for an account.
Must be 18 years of age and must follow the Terms and Conditions.
There are various ways to get paid from your buyers. Please view our
Acceptable Payments Policy to view which forms of payment are acceptable and which forms are not allowed on 24-7bids.
While listing an item, you would select which payment methods you will accept. You would then invoice your buyer after the sale... either from your selling page in the members area, from the24-7bids Auction Manager software, or simply sending them an email. You would inform them of the total due and what forms of payment you accept.
If you select any of the online payment methods we have listed in our Acceptable Payments Policy, you will need to ensure that you first create an account with that company.
If you are not using the 24-7bids Auction Manager software, you will need to follow the below steps to list your items. Click on the Sell link on the main menu located at the top of the webpage. You will be sent to step 1 of listing your item.
Step 1: Main Category:
Click the Main Category that your item fits in to best, then choose the appropriate sub-categories.
Step 2: Second Category:
Click a second category for your item (optional). If you do not want a second category for your item, click the text button "No Thanks, I do Not Want To List In A Second Category!"
Step 3: Item Details:
Item Name: Enter the title of your auction in the "Item Name" text box. Enter as descriptive text as possible, as this is what will drive buyers to look at your auction.(45 character limit) Description: In the description box enter your text description, or your own html(no java). To enter your own html simply click the view html source button, which looks like this "<>". Then copy and paste your html into the box. Click the view html source button and you can see how your ad will look.
If you are not using your own html, you can just type your text into the description box. This program works similar to a word processor, so if you want to get fancy you can use the tools avialable to change fonts, add bullets, change font color, insert images, plus much more.
Step 4: Auction Settings
Auction Type: Choose the auction type from the drop down menu. Standard auction is for one item. If you want to list a quantity of greater than one, select dutch auction.
Auction Currency: Change the currency setting if you are a seller outside the US.
Item Quantity: Enter the quantity of items to be sold on this auction.
Auction Starts at: Enter the price you want your auction to start at. (NOTE: If you want to list a "Buy Out Only" auction, you need to set the start price equal to the buy out price.)
Reserve Price: Enter a reserve price (optional). Reserve price is the lowest you would be willing to sell your item at. So if you set a reserve price of $100.00, and your auction ended with the highest bid at $87.00, your item would end as unsold.
Buy Out: Enter a buy out price (optional). This would enable prospective buyer the option of buying at the price listed instead of waiting until the end of the auction. The buy now price must be equal to or higher than the start price.
Bid Increment: Leave this as it is, unless you want to set the bid increments to a different setting. A bid increment is the amount a bidder must bid over the previous bidder. So if you set the bid increment at $1.00 and there was a bid on your item of $5.00, the next bidder would have to bid at least $6.00.
Featured Item: These are options that have a fee involved. You will see the current price for these items next to each item.
Start Time: Your auction will start immediately upon submission, unless you click the custom box and enter the date and time you want your auction to start.
Duration: Choose the length of the auction you want from the drop down menu.
Private Auction: Choose this if you wish your bidders ID hidden.
Auto Relist: Check this option if you want your item to automatically relist if unsold. If you choose enhanced options like homepage featured on this auction, you will incur the fees for the initial listing of that item, but you will not incur the fees for that listing each time this auction is relisted.
Upload Picture: Click the browse button and locate the picture for the auction from your computer. Once you find the picture or enter the url of the picture, click the "upload file" button. The page will refresh and you will now see a thumbnail of your picture in the images section of the listing page.
Your pictures should be less than 100kb and jpeg format to upload correctly. If your picture does not show up when listed, your picture is either the wrong format, too large, or you failed to click the "upload file" button before proceeding to the next step.
Picture Gallery: Here you can upload up to three additional pictures. Size limitations are the same as above.
Choose auto relist if you want your auction to relist if unsold. Choose auto relist if sold when you want your auctions to relist even if sold (Great option for multiple items you have in stock). Enter the amount of times you want your item to relist. The maximum is 99 times.
Enter your country and zip code, then click the next step button.
Step 5: Shipping & Payment Shipping Conditions:
Select who pays for shipping and check the international box if you ship internationally. Payment Methods: Select which payment options you will accept.
Select direct payment methods for this item by checking the direct payment box. If you are not able to check the box, you need to set up these payment methods from the account management page. (My Account>>Manage Account). By using direct payment, buyers are able to pay for the item directly through the 24-7bids site.
Postage Costs: Enter shipping costs here. If unsure of costs, leave blank and place estimated costs in the Shipping & Payment Details box below.
Insurance: Enter insurance cost (optional).
Shipping & Payment Details: Enter shipping payment instructions/details here.
Type of Service: Select shipping service used * TOTAL SETUP FEES: This will show you the charges for listing this auction, most auctions do not have a fee unless additional options were chosen on the previous page. By clicking the next step button you state that you agree to the Terms and Conditions as listed.
Step 6: Auction Preview:
preview your auction to ensure all is correct, then hit the submit button.
To list as buy out only, you would just set the start price and the buy out price at the same value. Buyers would not be able to bid on the auction, they would only be able to use the buy out option.
Click the "my account" tab in the members area, then click the "manage account" sub-tab. Scroll down to the direct payment settings, then enter your PayPal email address, then click the update button at the bottom of the page. Now when you list auctions, select the "PayPal" option for direct payment settings.
You need to be sure to set up the callback url in Paypal, so Paypal automatically updates the payment status for auctions paid with direct pay. To do this you will need to log in to your Paypal account, click the "profile" link, then click the "instant payment notification" link. On this page you will need to turn this preference on, and include the link located below.
Your buyers will now be able to pay you directly through a paypal pay now button on the 24-7bids site. This must be completed before listing items, and you must select paypal direct pay for each auction for this to work.
Each auction has a counter on the auction details page. This counter is
located just below the pictures, towards the bottom of the listing.
There are a couple reasons why pictures do not show in listings:
1) Failure to properly upload the picture:
When you are creating your listing, you will browse to find your picture or enter a url of the image. After you select your image you must click the "upload file" button, which is located to the right of the "browse" button. The page will then refresh with a thumbnail of your image showing in this section. All your other information you entered on this page will still remain filled in. If you do not see a thumbnail of your image in this section, your image was not uploaded correctly.
2) Improper image format and/or size:
Images must be in JPEG or GIF format, and should be 200kb or less in size. You may need to resize the image before you post in your auction.
Log into your account, then click the selling tab in the members area. This page will default to displaying your open auctions. Click the "sold" sub-tab to view your sold items.
Click the "message board" link for the appropriate auction, to send your buyer a message or to view their contact info.
Please open a ticket by clicking the contact button on the bottom of all our site pages. We will work with you and the buyer to resolve the issue, and hopefully get the transaction completed.
Buyers that fail to respond within a timely manner will be suspended and blocked. We will not suspend a buyer for an isolated incident, but will take action if it seems to be a continuing problem.
24-7bids believes in making this website a great experience for both the sellers and buyers. Please keep this in mind when selling or bidding on items that are listed on the website.
A bid or Buy Out purchase is considered a contract and you are obligated to purchase the item.
However, mistakes sometimes happen, and many sellers are willing to work with you if you communicate with them openly and honestly. If you have not done so already, you may want to give the seller a call, or send them an email. Let the seller know your situation, and see if you can work things out to everyone's satisfaction.
If the seller does not respond in the way you hope, keep in mind that failing to purchase an item you have won may result in negative feedback, as well as an Non paying bidder strike against your account. Too many unpaid item strikes may result in permanent suspension of your account.
